The Boy's first 2 wheeler ride

So last night we all went into the back yard to play while the foil dinners were cooking on the grill. There was a little boy who had been riding his bike in the side of the townhouses earlier in the day and he rode by again. He stopped to say hi and Cat Boy ran over to him to hug him and give him kisses. Cat Boy had been on the back deck when the boy had rode by earlier and was talking to him. So the boy dropped his bike and came over to play with the kids. They were having a great time when his sister ran by and told him if he was going to play here to bring his bike over. So he got his bike and it was a 2 wheeler. The Boy was admiring the bike so we told him we would check out WalMart tomorrow to check out the bikes. I asked the little boy how old he was and he is also 4. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of him. He happened to pass when we were returning from BJ's and asked to play with the boys again but we had things to do. I found out yesterday he has no mom. :( That just breaks my heart. The Boy really likes him and can not wait to show off his new bike. He picked it out in WalMart and rode it through all the isles as I did my grocery shopping. He also got a cool Ben 10 helmet to match. When we got home he could not wait to get all geared up and show daddy how well he could ride.

Cat Boy was very excited to see The Boy on the bike and enjoyed chasing him up and down the parking lot.
Of course it has been raining off and on for DAYS here so there are puddles everywhere. So each time Cat Boy got tired of chasing The Boy or The Boy went past a fun looking puddle Cat Boy had to take a break to play. The boy can NOT say no to playing in water. (see the bath blog to prove it LOL)

Anf of course a shot of the cool Ben 10 helmet! It also came with knee pads and elbow pads. They have XLR8 (accelerate) on them which of course help him to go SUPER SUPER fast!

Day at the Park

Thursday we walked up to the park. Rather I walked and They Boy and Cat Boy rode in the double stroller and Monkey was in the Mei Tai. It SEEMED like a good idea since it is only a tad over a mile but it is mostly uphill slightly. So pushing 80+ lbs in the stroller was a bit more then I was expecting especially since it was warmer then I thought. However we made it there and the kids had a blast.
They Boy went on the swings and asked to go "Highest high so I can go in the clouds." I grabbed his swing a few times while he was up in the air and let go and he just though that was the best!
Cat Boy found the little trees and spent a good chunk of time examining all the branches. As soon as he realized I was taking pictured he had to turn and say "CHEESE" each time! So much for candid pictures LOL.

Monkey of course just watched all the fun. I let him chill in the stroller to see if he wanted a nap but of course there was to much fun to watch to be bothered with sleep.
Cat Boy then got a hold of my camera and became a photographer. He even set the timer which I have NO CLUE how to due. LOL Here are some of his masterpieces. We call this one ode to my water
and this one is mommy REALLY needs a pedicure (hint hint to daddy LOL)

First dentist appointment

The Boy had his first dentist appointment on May 14th. He did GREAT! He was super excited to see the dentist and also to have some quiet time with no brothers. He had told me before we left he was going to be shy and not talk and he kept his word. :) He was a little unsure about opening his mouth at first but did it as soon as she mentioned a prize LOL! He enjoyed sitting in the chair and watching Dora while he got his teeth cleaned. A very nice lady came in and gave him a pinwheel which he has a BLAST with.

They tried to do x-rays but his mouth was to little for the thing. He was bummed he could not see pictures of his teeth but there is always next time. Everything was perfect and he can not wait to go back.

dinosaurs

So May 1st we headed up to Baltimore. We got a hotel at the Inner Harbor for a night. When we got there we settled in and headed to the harbor for dinner. It took us forever to get down there since we had to stop and look at everything. We had a nice dinner at Hard Rock and headed back to the hotel for the night. We had a busy day planned for Saturday. We woke up, packed up the car and walked to the harbor again. Had some lunch, watched a fudge show, checked out some boats and made plans to come back another time to see all the other cool things. It was getting late so we headed the the Marnier Center to see Walking with Dinosaurs! We were sitting in the 300's which will NEVER happen again! It was super high and steep so each time a kid moved The Hubby freaked. The lights went out and the show started! Cat Boy was a little freaked at first but as long as I had my arm around him he was fine! It was AWSOME! The dinosaurs were live animatronic and HUGE! They interacted with each other and we learned about how they lived, what they ate, and the different eras that they lived in! We all just sat so still there the whole time! Except for Monkey who slept through 99% of it! If it ever comes to an area near you you MUST go see it! I had gotten The Boy a book about dinosaurs from the library and the next night he wanted me to read it. While reading different facts he would yell out "DUH mom I already knew that!" It was a great family weekend!

SIlly Cat Boy.....

So I mentioned that yesterday They Boy helped me make bread. Well when Cat Boy wake up from his nap he was hungry so I offered him a piece. He said no and so I went to start dinner. I tunred around to see him reaching for the bread...but not the piece I had cut for him. The half a loaf left whole!
Then this morning The Boy needed to take a bath but wanted one alone. Well Cat Boy wanted to join in the fun. So when I went to put the plunger back in the master bath he decided to hop in. Pajama pants and diaper included. I walked into this...SILLY CAT BOY!

Long time no post...

Wow it has been a while! We are all moved into the new place. The only things I have left to unpack are my scrapbooking stuff and The Hubby's computer stuff in the study. That and books which we need a bookcase for and need to possibly custom make one for the nook.

Monkey is getting so big. He is 3 months old now and has his first tooth! He has figured out he has a voice and will talk and talk and talk. I have no clue how he got so big so fast. He loves to roll from one end of the room the the other, stopping every so often to yell out if no one is paying enough attention to him rolling. You can just SEE Monkey's eyes light up whenever one of his brothers comes to play with him!

Cat Boy is doing great. He is still my big old football player. We have cut out Red Dye #40 from his diet to see if that helps with his temper. It seems to be working! I have read about it here and there and decided to finally do it. He still has fits here and there like any normal 2 yo but I have noticed they are A LOT shorter and A LOT less frequent. This is day 10 and last night while talking to daddy on the phone he said outside and library! Of course it was blah blah blah blah outside. Which was relevant since we had just gone outside to talk to daddy! This is HUGE since he really only says a few words here and there. I am wondering if the new diet is helping this now that he is calmer and more in control of himself.

The Boy is doing well also. He is getting really tall. Today he helped me make bread and looked at me like I had 2 heads when I told him to punch it! As soon as he realized I was not kidding he laughed and started beating the dough up! He loves helping me cook and bake and is still doing great with trying new things! I am so happy he is not super picky anymore! Any given day you can find him on the computer, playing video games or playing with either one of his brothers. Yesterday he was sitting on the couch reading Monkey books!

They Boy and Cat Boy also have a new bed and bedroom. They chose Mickey Mouse and we have decorated their room just how they wanted. The bottom half is painted red and then there is the boarder and wallies. They ROCK! Both the boarder and wallies are basically stickers so you can take them off and on. Then they got a bunk bed with mickey mouse sheets and a comforter. I will take pictures later since Cat Boy is "napping" right now.

Our new house

Well we FINALLY got an offer accepted on a house. Well, a townhouse really. We settle April 7th so I have better get packing. It is a new townhouse and we are getting the upgraded kitchen and a deck built on. Here is the link to see it. http://www.skhomes.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Community.showOurCommunityMain&intCommunityID=56&option=modeldetail&intModelID=370&intHomeTypeID=3

under the picture click on interactive floorplan.

choose elevation 7 under step one. (should be the first pic)

step 2. select first floor and check sunroom and deck for sunroom. This will pull up some rooms in blue. That is all ours. Then click floor 2 and see what the upstairs looks like (again the blue is additional space because of the sunroom). We do not have floor 3 the loft. Then lower is the finished basement including the stuff in blue.

The Boy is very excited and keeps going around the house asking "We take "insert any object here" with us to new house?" I mean everything from the playstation, games and controllers (his VERY first and most important question) down to toilet paper....the kid cracks me up! William could care less as long as we bring his food :).

The Hubby and I are just excited to be FINALLY done looking for a house. Imagine 5 hrs at a time driving the kids around 2 counties each weekend to try and find a house. They were done and so were we! So I guess I better order some boxes and start packing whenever I have a spare minute since I am sure the kids are gonna wanna "help". Should be fun....
